The book, A Beaverbrook Holiday, features characters that are sure to be familiar to readers of The Frame-Up and visitors to the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Mona Dunn, Sargent Singer, and Lord Beaverbrook all return to celebrate one the Gallery’s favorite holiday traditions: the Nutcracker Tea. The story follows these characters as they try to join in the holiday celebrations while the Gallery is full of visitors.
MacKnight was inspired by her own experiences and memories of the Nutcracker Tea to write this, and generously chose to donate the story to the Gallery – proceeds from its sale will support the Gallery’s programming and activities. This short story was written as a companion to her novel The Frame-Up.
